How to start your own project?
How to start your own project? The Universe created us in its image and likeness. That means that we resemble it in many ways. Especially when it comes to creating something new. But society is wired in such a way that it is much easier to convince your neighbor not to paint his house than to repaint yours after he does. It begins in childhood when our parents or older friends, often subconsciously talk us out of creating something new. Whether it’s a creative project or a new hobby. As a result, a person grows up and ends up in one of two main categories. They either “serve” someone or “create” something. Neither of those categories is good or bad. It’s important to understand this. If you don’t create anything, it means you serve someone. You don’t like this word? Then let’s put it this way: “you perform a function”. That sounds more appealing. It’s not bad to “perform a function”. But deep inside, you must feel an urge to create something. Sooner or later, you’ll have to get down to it. 1) Don’t be afraid of failure Sometimes you will fail, that’s inevitable. You may not succeed at all, but that’s where the thrill comes from, because after 9 failures you will reach truly spectacular success. 2) Don’t be afraid of criticism. Everyone will ask you: what are you doing? Why? Some will laugh at you, and virtually no one will understand you. Just don’t think about it. They say outsiders see most of the game? Well, that’s rubbish. It is your life. 3) Start with something easy If you’re still afraid and you don’t know what to start with, then just start with something easy. It’s not always the best idea to open a store or paint an oil painting on a hundred-square-meter canvas. Start with a small painting. So small that you must be sure to finish it in one session. 4) Start with something elementary If you don’t know what to start with at all, then start with something elementary. Buy the cheapest paint out there and a big sheet of paper. And paint something. It doesn’t really matter what you paint. Whatever. What is important is to get the job done in one session, and it must be a finished painting. It’s important. There must be no empty room left on the sheet. You must feel that the job is done. That will encourage you to move forward. You must feel it. And then new ideas will start coming to you all by themselves. You’ll have new ideas. Because you will start creating. Creating something new. Whether it’s interesting or not. That doesn’t matter. Nice or not? That doesn’t matter either. The Universe will feel that this wish to create that lay dormant in you is starting to materialize. It will certainly feel it. Just go ahead and start creating! Be brave, and you’ll see how your life is changing. Right away. The change may not be that big, but it will happen – and that’s what matters. And the change will go on. Hail to the Universe, for the wish and opportunity to create that she gives us!
